What's Your 2025 Vibe?

$5.97Price

Ring in 2025 with classroom community! Not only is this resource ready to go, leaving you more time to enjoy winter break, but it is the perfect "semi-free day" students will be asking for on the 1st day back!

This is not your average "build a vision board" (though that is one option for this activity). Students will be reflecting on their interests, goals, ambitions, and how they can apply their skills to experiences in the future.

11 interactive slides with adaptable directions based on the needs of your students. Students can explore and complete slides of their interests, or all of the ideas for a 2025 time capsule feel.

  • Slide 1: Title Slide + Adding Student's Names. They can choose to redecorate this slide if they choose.
  • Slide 2: Adaptable directions with a table of contents for students.
  • Slide 3: Students create a vision board inserting images of their dreams or ambitions for the future. (They can also share images from their break or photos that bring them joy if they choose--my students LOVE showing off their pets!)
  • Slide 4: Students will create a page of song titles/covers that represent them in 2025. This is a great space for students to share music they love, and also has the potential for a classroom playlist.
  • Slide 5: Students create a collage of inspiring words/phrases for the year. Optional* use this space to brainstorm phrases/inspiration that you can showcase in your room for the rest of the semester.
  • Slide 6: This is a FAVORITE slide of mine and my students. Students will share their sport (one they play or one they like to watch). Then, they will list important skills they will need to be successful at that sport, and then share how they can apply those skills in the classroom, at home, or in the community.
  • Slide 7: Students research trends of 2025. What things are IN for the year, and what is OUT for the new year. They can approach this slide with a societal approach or personal approach.
  • Slide 8: Students showcase media that represents them in 2025. They can insert titles/covers of movies, shows, or video games. I use this information to craft my content throughout the year and make references to things I know will meet the interests of my students.
  • Slide 9: New skills! Students write skills they have always wanted to master, and how they can apply these skills in every day life or in a job someday.
  • Slide 10: Students create a showcase of books for 2025. These can be books they have read before, want to read, or feel like represent them.
  • Slide 11-12: I never want my students to stop asking "What if...?" or "I wonder...?" Sooo students are going to finish the sentence, and then research what they find about their topic!
  • Slide 13: Final reflection + share their slides with a peer!

This lesson can take 1-3 days depending on how you adapt the directions. The best part of these types of activities is that as the teacher you assign the slides, and then walk around checking in with students as they yap and catch up with their friends. OR use this time to prep ideas for the upcoming year.

Perfect for your classroom community <3
