Red Flags are back on TikTok, and if you need an engaging activity to hook students before you dive into the classics the whole year, grab the bundle and save! This pack is the perfect way to introduce themes present in a specific novel before students dive into the first chapter. Students are introduced to "Red Flags" and "Green Flags" as an idiom, and will first brainstorm their own ideas about where they notice these ideas in their world. Next, students are given a series of scenarios that are relevant to events that happen in various texts, and they have to choose whether a situation is a "Red Flag" or "Green Flag" by adding their own Gif, and defend their stance.
