Do you like music? Do you like Guardians of the Galaxy? Don't worry if you haven't seen the movie, but your students will definitely be Hooked on a Feeling with this one:) Especially if you start the year with NARRATIVES!
 
The Ultimate Playlist Theory says that everyone has songs in their life that bring them back to a memory or an emotion. Everyone's playlist looks different. After interacting with brainstorming strategies, students will end up writing 3 short pieces based on 3 different songs on their Ultimate Playlist. 
 
There are 3 reflection questions included in the last slides to help students continue to think about their writing process, the importance of sharing stories, and how their experiences impact who they are.
 
Continue to build relationships with students, their interests, and reflect on the year for a perfect Back to School activity!
