Back to School "Let's Roll the Dice" Engaging Ice Breaker (Printable)

Need a non cringey ice breaker with a variety of ways to play? "Let's Roll the Dice" is the perfect way to get your class engaged and interacting with one another. 
 
This game includes 6 versions, allowing you to choose the one that best suits your classroom. 
 
You can use a physical or digital dice for the game. Roll the dice to choose which question to discuss. *Helpful Hint* Add a visual timer set for 1.5-2 minutes to help students stay on task and have enough time to speak.
 
Example out of the box questions include:
-If animals could talk, what species would be the nicest and why?
-What is one snack you just can't get enough of and why?
-Tell us your strategy for winning a cookie dough eating contest.
-If you could choose 1 weekday to have no school, what would it be and why?
-and many more!
 
There are 3 different sets of questions to choose from to fit the interests of your students that are beyond "What's your favorite color?" Play as pairs, individuals, or small groups.
 
*Product includes a Bonus Action Set* Same structure as the questions, but with actions to perform as a team. For these rounds, I reccomend increasing the timer to 4-5 minutes per round. All actions are team oriented to help students feel comfortable working together and not singled out. Play the action set as a class so each small group is working on the same task simultaneously.
