Let's Flag That: Editable for ANY Text

This resource is the MOST ENGAGING way I have found to introduce theme in a text! The key is to introduce key ideas, events, and themes BEFORE or in the MIDDLE of a text instead of at the end. 
 
This resource requires editing on the teacher end, but a easy 5 minute video tutorial is included for how to best adapt this resource to fit the needs of the students in your class and the text you are reading. 
 
Step 1: Choose a color pallete (Blue, Yellow, or Purple options available) Delete the other color palletes
Step 2: On the 1st slide, add your novel/short story/or text
Step 3: Edit the scenario slides with themes, topics, or events that will appear in your specific text
Step 4: Copy/Paste the flag template slides for as many scenarios you will create for your class. 
Step 5: Assign to students!
