Prepare students for "Holiday Hot Take" conversations around the table this season! These 15+ student friendly hot takes help keep students engaged while practicing rhetorical appeals, creating a claim, choosing an audience, and crafting their argument to persuade their stance.
 
This resource reviews rhetorical appeals (ethos, pathos, and logos) and allows students to practice before diving into deeper analysis. 
 
Students will create their own holiday hot take and craft their argument/perspective to share with a friend. This resource includes 3 reflection questions that allow studnets to dive into deeper analysis on the importance of rhetoric. Have fun this holiday season!
